Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Baby Boy Due Date Arriving September 2014?

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are happy to be expecting a baby boy. This is the first child for the couple, and it has been reported that the baby will be born on September of this year.

Though the famous couple has kept mum all throughout the pregnancy— with nary a word of confirmation or news of the baby's gender from them— a source recently confirmed to OK! Magazine that the baby will definitely be a boy.

According to the source, Gosling and Mendes are putting together their baby's nursery, and although the walls are a neutral color, they have chosen blue accents for the room. The report also goes on to say that several assistants have been spotted coming into Mendes' house carrying blue linens and toys.

Moreover, the couple has allegedly decided on a monkey theme, as they have been referring to the baby as a "little monkey."

Most of the baby's furniture is sustainable. It is being reported that the actor put together his son's crib, which is mostly made out of bamboo, and Mendes outfitted the room with a rocking chair that was a perfect fit for the décor.

The website is reporting that Gosling couldn't be happier to have a son and that reportedly, he is already excited to teach him how to play sports.

Meanwhile, there have been speculations as to why Mendes has not been seen outdoors at all since March. The last event she went to where she was photographed was during the launch of her spring campaign for New York & Company. It is believed that she was already three months pregnant at that time. Mendes was wearing a floral dress and she carried a white bag which she strategically placed on her stomach at all times.

Reports are claiming that she was supposedly ordered by doctors to be on bed rest, which could explain why she hasn't been seen out lately.
