The company spent most of its presentation of the device on the redesigned accessory that comes with some new and exciting features. It now sports a better grip and a rubber tip, and when it is pulled out of its holder, a contextual page pops up asking the user what tasks they would like to perform with it.

The new Note also features "Air View," which is accessible in many apps and gives the user a preview of their videos or photos when they are hovered over with the S Pen.

Commands can also be issued using the S Pen by holding its button and drawing a line. Email accounts could be accessed for specific people when the user jots down a name.

Another interesting feature on the new Note is Best Face, which allows users to select multiple facial expressions from each person in a continuous group shot. Drag-and-drop smart folders have been redesigned in the gallery app, and a screen recorder for recording video and audio are also available on the device.

The S Pen is also now able to jot things down on the back of a photo, freely outline, crop, and share images. The apps for the S Pen have also been updated as S Note and S Planner are better integrated with Facebook.

Other specifications on the Galaxy Note 2 include a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal memory, Android 4.1, JellyBean, and 2GB RAM.
