The front facing camera of the SGS4 is a 2 megapixel unit, also capable of recording 1080p videos.

The iPhone 5 has an 8-Megapixel camera sensor and f/2.4 aperture, a dynamic low light mode to benefit night-time snapping with a new more durable sapphire crystal lens.

New camera modes for the iPhone include the Panorama, which allows user to take panoramic photos; and the Share Photo Streams feature to share pictures with friends and family. The front-facing camera is now capable of 720p video.
