Samsung Tizen Phone: Z3 to Be Announced in India, Bangladesh, Nepal Before End of July

For many years, Samsung has been developing its very own mobile operating system to rival Android OS by Google. However, the project took longer than expected, with fans and consumers losing interest.

However, that changed in January when the Korean manufacturer finally unveiled a smartphone that runs on Tizen OS. Unfortunately, expectations were not met once the Samsung Z1 was announced.

The smartphone was not a flagship, and cannot even be considered a midranger.

Now, Samsung will launch the successor of its Z1 which made the Tizen OS debut earlier this year. The Samsung Z3, which should be announced anytime soon, will reportedly hit some countries in South Asia, including India, Bangladesh and Nepal.

While the phone has not been announced yet, some rumored specs of the device include a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, 1.5GB of RAM, a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S processor, an 8GB built-in memory, and a microSD card slot.

Other specs include an 8MP primary camera, 5MP front cam, dual-SIM capabilities, a 2,600mAh battery, and Tizen OS 3.0.

In the report, the Samsung Z3 will be formally announced during the Tizen Deveoper Summit on July 30-31.
