San Antonio Spurs NBA 2015 News, Rumors: Tim Duncan Insists It's Not Time To Panic Yet

The San Antonio Spurs have been in this situation in the past, but this time it will test the squad's abilities and its eligibility to do it all over again – win an NBA title.

The Spurs have only won 36 games this season, and have lost 23 games already. In the report by ESPN, that number is already higher than their total losses for last year.

The report also mentioned that San Antonio only managed a 4-5 performance during their usual 'rodeo road trip' – a series of road games where the Spurs should be steadying their hold of their position in the Western Conference standings.

Unfortunately, it has not been good. San Antonio is currently the seventh seed in the West, and is only a couple of wins ahead of Oklahoma City Thunder.

However, in spite the lackluster performance from last year's champs, veteran center Tim Duncan shared his thoughts and implied that there is nothing to be worried about.

"When you lose games, three or four in a row like we have, people start to panic and want to change something or change everything," the former MVP said.

"You have to stay steady with it and understand it's a work in progress and we're not in as bad a position as it may seem at the time. We get some wins together and start feeling good about ourselves then we'll be in the right place during the playoffs."

San Antonio is far from being completely healthy this season. Tony Parker is continuing to play in spite his hamstring injury, while Kawhi Leonard has already missed 15 straight games this season.

However, both players are playing now, and with the leadership and reassuring voice of Duncan, the Spurs may be able to make one big push to land on the upper half of the standings by season's end.
