'Shark Tank' Season 7 is back, Ashton Kutcher appears on show as guest shark

American reality television series "Shark Tank" is back for its seventh season in ABC. Another round of entrepreneurial dreams are going to be tackled, some of which will go high while others meet rejection. But whether a product makes it or not, the exposure alone of being introduced in the series with millions of viewers is a big break.

Joining in the line of "sharks in the tank" is Ashton Kutcher who will appear in the season premiere as a guest. He will be joining Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, Kevin O'Leary and Lori Greiner. According to Cartermatt, he is "filling the spot" that normally has either Daymond John or Barbara Corcoran.

And being a dynamic and fun actor that he is always known to be, Kutcher is sure to bring great entertainment to the show. But he will be bringing some business sense with him as he has been an investor for some time already.

Crossmap noted that the "That 70's Show" former star is a successful investor in the tech space and is an active investor in startups. He is said to have made investments in Airnbnb, Uber, Spotify, SoundCloud, Shazam and Houzz, Flipboard and Foursquare. He even invested on his own in Skype before it was sold out to Microsoft.

Kutcher, along with the other Sharks, will meet diverse entrepreneurs who will bring to the table their pitches. Among the thousands of entrepreneurs, Chris Gilpin from Orlando, Florida was given the chance to introduce his brand, as stated in KpopStarz. He is the founder of the company SignalVault, which is a plastic and metal card designed to prevent "wireless pick-pocketing," where high-tech thieves can steal credit and debit card information. Gilpin said that he made his pitch last June, so fans will have to wait and see if the Sharks have invested in his company or not.

Other entrepreneurs who will be featured in the show are revealed in the synopsis and include a father from Wellington with a product that will improve baby feeding process, a culinary student who is introducing a vinegar as an alternative to traditional sodas, and two men from Los Angeles who have come up with a new form of wearable transportation.

"Shark Tank" season 7 premieres Friday, Sept. 25, 9 PM on ABC.
