Snooki Gives Birth to Baby Girl; JWoww Shares First Picture
MTV star Snooki gave birth to a baby girl on Friday and the first photo surfaced online shortly after.
The former "Jersey Shore" star, born Nicole Polizzi, first shared the baby news with her 6 million followers on social networking site Twitter. She and her fiance Jionni LaValle are said to be thrilled with the birth of their second child.
"So happy to let you know we had our beautiful daughter this morning Giovanna Marie LaValle. 6.7 lbs, full head of black hair & perfect," she tweeted.
Shortly after the birth, Snooki's best friend Jenni "JWoww" Farley shared an adorable photo of baby Giovanna. In the photo, which appeared on Farley's personal website, a leopard-clad Snooki is seen cradling her bundle of joy as friends and family look on.

Snooki, 26, got engaged to LaValle, 27, in March 2012 shortly before she gave birth to their now two-year-old son Lorenzo. She previously revealed that she was due to give birth to a girl around the same time of their wedding date.
"I'm due in the fall around my wedding time. Busy year!" she told US magazine. "I can clarify that our wedding is still on, and we are madly in love with each other."
On Thursday, hours before giving birth, Snooki complained about pregnancy in a personal blog via celebuzz.com.
"Guess what, I'm still freaking pregnant. Omg! I can't deal with this anymore," she wrote. "I'm at that point where I can't move, I can't sleep, I'm waking up 20 times throughout the night, rolling out of bed, waddling to the bathroom and praying that my mucus plug falls out and my water breaks and I'm just ready to go at this point."
The birth comes two months after the birth of Farley's daughter Meilani Alexandra, who is fathered by her fiance Roger.
At the time, Snooki shared a photo of baby Meilani on Instagram shortly after her birth and revealed that she is her godmother.
"With my goddaughter Meilani!! Thank you [Jenni] for bringing this gorgeous nugget into this world," Snooki captioned in the photo.
