Sofia Vergara's Dress Torn, Fiance Ejected From NYE Party

Sofia Vergara and her fiancé Nick Loeb have made headlines after a reportedly very heated incident at a Miami nightclub during a New Year's celebration.

The engaged couple allegedly became embroiled in an argument in the early hours on Tuesday while in the VIP section of the club Story, leading to Vergara's dress being ripped down and Loeb's expulsion from the venue.

Vergara and Loeb were being hosted by club owner Chris Paciello, who Vergara dated in the late 1990s, according to Fox News.

According to reports, Vergara's ex being present may have instigated the argument between Loeb and the "Modern Family" star.

"Nick seemed tense around Chris, who was hosting them in the VIP section, even though he and Sofia are just friends," an onlooker at the club told The New York Post.

Then, friction increased when Loeb allegedly encountered a scuffle involving "some pushing and shoving" with nearby partygoers.

"In the early hours, Nick and Sofia were arguing before he got into a dispute with somebody at a neighboring table," the insider continued. "Sofia stepped in to try to calm the situation, but somehow she ended up getting pushed and shoved also."

As the tension escalated, Vergara lost control of her strapless top.

"Her strapless dress was torn or pulled down in the melee, exposing her cleavage in front of other people and her son Manolo, who was offended … [he] left the club. It was crazy," explained the onlooker.

The altercation led to security guards dragging Loeb "out of the VIP section and [throwing] him out of the club," recounted the insider.

A different attendee said that "things got pretty heated, but [Sofia] was never hit," to The Post.

Vergara and Loeb arrived at Story after ringing in the New Year at the Delano Hotel with Vergara's son Manolo and other members of her inner circle.

Ahead of their arrival, Vergara posted to Twitter: "We go now to Story @ChrisPaciello1 we go now party!!"

Meanwhile, the Colombian actress and Loeb's engagement was first reported in July, but they have not announced a wedding date yet.
