'Star Wars Episode 8' News: Mark Hamill Will Reveal a Spoiler

One of the stars for the upcoming installment of "Star Wars" might actually share a spoiler for the film.
While it has been known that Disney is trying to prevent details about the upcoming film from being leaked by improving security throughout the set, there is a chance that one of the film's major stars could reveal some juicy details about the upcoming installment.

Mark Hamill, who plays the role of Luke Skywalker, recently challenged fans of "Star Wars" on his official Twitter account. He posted that he will be allowed to share one spoiler from the film if he is able to reach one million followers. He tweeted, "Thanks @rianjohnson for letting me reveal 1 SPOILER to try to reach #HAMILLION followers! STAY TUNED! #LeakingLuke"

Hamill explained that upon reaching 1 million Twitter followers, he will be able to share a "stunning plot point." There are speculations that this could be information regarding some of the new additions of the film, such as Laura Dern or Benicia del Toro's characters.

Fans were hesitant about his tweet, especially since it was posted on April 1. There are speculations that it was just a prank from the actor. However, some believe that it could actually be true since it has been more than a day and Hamill still has yet to reach 1 million followers. It was stated that when he first posted the tweet, he was 21,000 followers away from his goal. After his tweet, it only went down to 18,000.

Unfortunately, there has yet to be any confirmation on Hamill's Twitter challenge. Fans will have to wait until he reached 1 million followers in order to find out if he really will reveal a spoiler.

"Star Wars Episode 8" is expected to hit theaters next year.
