Steve Jobs Biography: Taiwanese News Company NWA Animates Excerpts From New Book

The new biography about Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson has been written about ad nauseum in the media for all its interesting tidbits about the legendary Apple CEO. But have you seen the animated version?

A new video produced by Next Media Animation (NMA), a Taiwanese media company, tells some of the most interesting parts of "iSteve" (officially titled Steve Jobs) through humorous, computer reenactments. As a ghost-like digital Steve Jobs re-lives the parts of the new book by Isaacson, such as telling President Barack Obama that he would be a one-term president to telling Bill Gates he should ingest LSD to be a "broader guy."

NMA gained media attention for its back-and-forth video feud with television talk show host, Conan O'Brien. After NMA created an awkard video about O'Brien's harsh exit from NBC, O'Brien's staff fired off a video reponse that poked fun at NMA's "cheesy" visuals, according to Time magazine.

NMA's response was to create an over-the-top parody response that suggested O'Brien's video was created by child slaves from Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch.

The Taiwanese company also produces videos in Mandarin Chinese, giving Chinese viewers a unique perspective on the latest American news stories. Some of NMA's other hits have included a reenactment about Tiger Woods' extramarital affairs and Charlie Sheen destroying hotel rooms, as well as a live-action "weather girl" series which features a young woman dancing around a toilet as the day's temperatures in various American cities are shown on the screen.
