The first mentioned title is a Midwestern slasher series that takes inspiration in the hour-by-hour story development of "24" by immersing the viewers to a "long night of hell." The first season will focus on a psychopath who returns home on an annual county fair bringing along with him, the fire of revenge on the people he believes have destroyed his life.

The still in development, "Creatures," is a psychological thriller about two former best friends who attempted to sacrifice a classmate's heart to an imaginary entity called Mr. Gorgi. Years after their release from a psychiatric institute, the two women once again begin to feel the presence of the internet bogeyman.

"I'm really thrilled about the way this horror block is coming together with the addition of 'Time of Death' and 'Creatures,'" the filmmaker said, according to Variety. "That such a beloved property like 'Tales From the Crypt' is launching our evening makes it an even more unique and exciting opportunity. Across the board, the level of talent has been very inspiring."

Working alongside Shyamalan for "Time of Death" are screenwriters Guy Busic and R. Christopher Murphy. For "Creatures," Dominic Mitchell will pen the series with Tom Shankland as director and co-showrunner.

"Tales from The Crypt" is slated to launch on the small screen in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
