LaShawn Daniels, the Grammy Award winning music producer, sparked a conversation on Twitter after providing an example for how Christians can react to homosexual couples on the latest "Tamar & Vince" episode.

LaShawn and his wife April Daniels made a guest appearance on singer and friend Tamar Braxton's hit WEtv show, "Tamar & Vince." Tamar and her music executive husband Vincent Herbert decided to invite the Daniels on a couples vacation to Mexico.

However, LaShawn was surprised to find out that Tamar invited her homosexual friend and makeup artist Terrell Mullins on the trip with his boyfriend Ben. As a devout Christian, LaShawn let it be known that he was not comfortable with condoning the relationship. He made it clear that his Christian beliefs have shaped the way he views homosexuality.

"Homosexuality is frowned upon, it's a sin in the way I was brought up," LaShawn explained on "Tamar & Vince."

Ben insisted he had a relationship with God and warned people about judging he and Terrell.

"Regardless of what anybody says, I still have my relationship with God," Ben said, quoting Matthew 7 which reads, "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again (KJV)."

LaShawn also made sure to express his respect for both Terrell and Ben.

"The Bible says the true way of a Christian is to abide in love. I really in these years have developed a regard for Terrell, because I know he's real," LaShawn told Terrell and Ben. "I want to respect the love that you have for Ben. I don't disrespect you guys, but I respect my Lord and Savior."

April was proud of her husband's ability to show love in a moment he did not agree with.

"I think in that moment you being well-respected for being a Christian, it was a big moment," April told her husband.

A number of people took to Twitter to comment about the exchange that took place. Some accused LaShawn of being homophobic.

"Lashawn is a homophobe #TamarandVince," one person tweeted.

Others seemed inspired by his Christ-like attitude.

"Much love (LaShawn). Now that's how Christians should be," one person tweeted. "You don't have to agree with a persons lifestyle but you show love like Christ did."

"Tamar & Vince" airs Thursdays on WEtv at 10 p.m. ET.
