'The Catch' Season 2 Episode 4: The Past Comes to Haunt Everyone in 'The Family Way'

The previous episode of ABC's crime series "The Catch" left lovers Alice (Mireille Enos) and Ben (Peter Krause) at a standstill, each with a gun pointed at the other in an argument concerning a bag of drug money. Is family about to take priority and push love to the backseat?

A second miscalculation in their first undercover job with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has put Ben and Rhys' (John Simm) life at the mercy of an unlikely suspect: Jesse (Abraham Lim), the party-loving son of the diplomat they were after. And now, Ben needs the money they nicked off of Alice's brother, Tommy (T.R. Knight), or Rhys will die.

Unfortunately, Alice needs the money as well in order to save her brother's life from the drug cartel that will surely come for him in 24 hours. How will Alice and Ben resolve this situation? Will they ever?

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "The Family Way" does not reveal much, but it does tease another issue that Alice will be forced to confront concerning the past she thought she had already left behind. Will this have anything to do with Anderson–Vaughan's efforts to uncover their client Margot's (Sonya Walger) biggest secrets?

The official trailer for the episode teases a favorable turn in Alice and Ben's relationship since they seem to be working together against Margot, who in a sneak peek is revealed to have taken the diamonds that Ben and Rhys have been after as payment for Ben's three-million-dollar debt. Does this debt have anything to do with Ben and Alice coming to a compromise? And will letting Margot into the loop cause them more harm than good, both in their personal and professional lives?

The sneak peek also reveals that Danny (Jay Hayden) has kept seeing Margot after their heated hook up in the previous episode. How will this secret change his relationships with Sophie (Elvy Yost) and his boss, Alice? Or will this turn out to be an undercover mission all along for the one-man B Team?

"The Catch" season 2 episode 4 airs on Thursday, March 30 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
