However, his campaign will also affect Alicia greatly, making her question her role as a wife. Robert and Michelle King, creators of the series, have spoken about the matter and how Alicia will be during the campaign.

According to TV Guide, they said, "She's savvy enough now to know that her public image isn't her image. It isn't who she is. She knows that it helps Peter's campaign if she's seen as the good wife who has cookie recipes … They referred to Hillary back in the '92 campaign where she in a sense had to pretend to be the housewife and mother. Does Alicia Florrick have to do that because it helps Peter seem more like a family man? That's what she struggles with."

Meanwhile, Alicia will be adding new friends to her list as the season progresses. With that, new characters are expected to show up. It is expected that her new friends will help her get through the rocky chapter of her life.

With that, fans will be eager to see how she will develop as a character in the story, especially with several new factors in her life.

"The Good Wife" season 7 will premiere this Oct. 4.
