In recent years, the popular social media website Twitter has become a major venue for national politicians campaigning for office or commenting on public policy battles.

Among the Democratic presidential candidates, Sanders has the most Twitter followers, having approximately 9.28 followers as of Tuesday.

Behind Sanders, all approximations, are Booker with 4.25 million followers, Biden with 3.57 million followers, Harris with 2.66 million, and Marianne Williamson, spiritual teacher and best-selling author, with 2.61 million.

All are trumped by the current president, whose Twitter handle @realDonaldTrump has over 60 million followers and whose @POTUS handle has over 25 million followers.
