'The Sims 4' News: Game Releases Extension Pack 'Romantic Gardens Stuff'

It was 16 years ago when the very first "Sims" game was made available for the PC. Since its release, people who have played the game just couldn't help but get hooked on it, thanks to its remarkable gameplay and design. Fast forward to 2016: "The Sims 4" is releasing an extension pack that is just in time for Valentines and to commemorate the game's "sweet 16."

Dubbed as "Romantic Gardens Stuff," the new extension pack oozes with things associated with love and romance. As seen in the trailer, the pack is "packed" with romantic stuff, such as colorful flowers, statues, and many other things that can heighten the romantic feel if Valentine's Day is celebrated outdoors. According to Cinema Blend, it would be safe to assume that part of the new gameplay will involve things like making wishes in the Whispering Wishing Well.

Meanwhile, the game's official website revealed that the Sim who doubts the power of the Whispering Wishing Well will experience misfortunes. A single "Simoleon" is all it takes for the Sims to make a wish for happiness, wealth, a child, youth, love, and many other things. However, because the wishing well has its certain moods, the Sims have to be cautious about what to wish for and must also ensure that the wishing well is in a good mood when the wish is made. Wishing can either result in boon or bane.

Another interesting feature of the extension pack is the Fountain of Gluteus Maximus. It will give the Sims an option of adding soap to its waters so that bubbles can form. The Sims who want to intensify the romantic mood and feel can also go to the Lost Gardens of Healing where they can stroll around, enjoy the scenery, with music serenading them in the background.

Apart from the outdoor features serving as a backdrop to the game and heightening the romantic feel, the extension pack also features updated floral fashion and hairstyles that will surely make the Sims presentable for their romantic escapades and look appropriate for the spring season.

"Romantic Gardens Stuff" is now available since Feb.9 and is sold separately from "The Sims 4."
