'The Young and the Restless' News: Peter Bergman Celebrates 25 Years on the Show, Nov. 17-21 Spoilers

Nov. 27 marks Peter Bergman's 25th year of playing Jack Abbott on "The Young and the Restless," and he sat down with TVGuide to reminisce about his first day on the show.

"In some ways it seems like I got here only yesterday," said Bergman. "But then I'm on the set and I look over at Hunter King and realize I was already on the show four years when she was born!"

On his first day on the set of Y&R, Bergman said, "I got along with everybody but— coming from 'All My Children' where everyone was a tight family, talking, connecting, running lines with each other— it took me a while to adjust to things at Y&R. I felt I was a one-man army against the establishment."

The actor also shared how everybody knew more about his character than he did.

"Every prop guy and every technician knew more about my character than I did and let me know it," he said. One his co-stars, Bergman said, "Jess Walton was simply wonderful from the moment I met her and such a character! Jerry Douglas was a larger-than-life guy."

Meanwhile on the show, Victoria's birth will happen this week on Y&R. Billy and Stitch will set aside their differences as they try to find her, and they find her locked inside a janitor's closet and already in labor. Stitch has no choice but to deliver the baby right then and there.

At the hospital, the two are already smitten with Victoria's baby girl and both of them are convinced that she must be theirs. On Tuesday, Victoria tells Stitch that she knows that he didn't kill his father and that it was his mother who locked her in the janitor's closet. At the same time, Abby encourages Bill to make another attempt at reconciling with Veronica.

Across town, Adam plots his return to Genoa City. He and Sage marvel over his new face, and he is confident that nobody in the city will know who he is once he returns.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
