'The Young and The Restless': On Billy's Regret, Scott's Situation, and Kristoff St. John's Condition

The showrunners behind "The Young and The Restless" have always excelled in showcasing deception and regret. Veteran fans have been watching it all happen on CBS for years, and spoilers for the week of Oct. 23 reveal that there is going to be more of the same scenario as relationships are put on the line and revelations are made.

"The Young and The Restless" cast is down one member, as recent reports revealed that Kristoff St. John has been admitted to the hospital after threatening to commit suicide.

According to spoilers, the biggest reveal will happen between Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Considering that the former illegally used her laptop to get some files for Victoria (Amelia Heinle), he is unsurprisingly standing on thin ice.

It was only a matter of time before Phyllis was going to find out, and this week, she will confront him about it. Billy will express regret, but Phyllis will stand her ground to the point that she will be furious enough to physically hurt him and throw his clothes out of their home.

Phyllis and Billy will not be the only ones who will find themselves in an escalating situation. Lauren (Tracey E. Bagman) will find out that Scott (Daniel Hall) will be caught in a dangerous situation due to his investigation, and she will blame Sharon (Sharon Case) for it. They will get into a brawl that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will have to break up. The tension will not fade anytime soon.

Meanwhile, reports have revealed that St. John, who plays as Neil Waters in "The Young and The Restless" has been admitted to a hospital for a mental evaluation for 72 hours after a previous partner received photos of him pointing a gun at his own head.

Considering that he is still grieving the suicide of his son last Nov. 23, 2014, St. John might have been pushed over the edge. No updates on his condition have been released as of yet, but fans are expecting more information in the coming weeks.

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays on CBS at 12:30 p.m. EDT.
