The Young & the Restless Spoilers August 8-12: Victor and Phyllis Work Together to Take Down Luca; Will Chloe be Finally Caught with her Secret?
Victoria agrees to head Brash & Sassy. Why did Neil act weird when Lily questions him on their family tree?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 8 reveal that Victor and Phyllis will finally find a reason to work together. Luca will propose to Summer who immediately starts her wedding planning. Meanwhile, Victoria agrees to head Brash & Sassy to Jill's delight.
Billy and Victoria
After getting some encouragement from Billy, Victoria agrees to head Brash & Sassy. They agree to work into the new business even though they know about Jill's scheme to bring them back together. They even become closer with the new set-up. Victor seems not to be concerned with Victoria's resignation but is really pained. It is still Adam who he wants at his side, however.
Jill also urges Phyllis to step down from the charity board in order for her to stay away from Billy. Jack Abbott will also ask for Jill's help with his marriage. Up to what extent is Jill willing to go in order to keep his marriage intact?
Adam and Chelsea
Adam is still in jail and will become upset with Chelsea when she visits him at Walworth. Adam fears that Chelsea is losing her focus in their plan of catching Chloe with her lie. She is afraid that he is slowly pulling away from her.
Luca and Summer
It turns out that Summer is not pregnant after all but Luca proposes to her anyway. Luca goes to Victor to tell him about the engagement but the latter shuts him down. He makes it clear to Luca that marriage is not the opening for Luca to the family business.
Summer immediately starts planning her wedding with Chelsea and Sharon. Chelsea warns her of Victor's tendency to break up marriages.
Summer tells Phyllis about her engagement which prompts Phyllis to accept an alliance with Victor. The two will work together in taking down Luca and out of Summer's life.
Victor and Chloe
Victor will have an acrimonious meeting with Chloe in the park. He confronts her about staying with Chelsea in the penthouse and her visit with Adam in prison. She will insist she had burned the diary pages but he does not believe her.
Victor makes a thinly veiled threat to Chloe and tells her to think about her baby. Later, Chloe will tell Chelsea that she made a huge mistake. Will she finally confess in setting up Adam?
Other Spoilers
Dylan will see Chloe and Victor's meeting at the park that will confirm his suspicions. However, Paul thinks he has crossed a line and will push for him to leave the investigation. Dylan is insistent however.
Kevin gets Mariah to help him win Chloe back. Mariah will help him but her attempt will not go well. Later in the week, she will make a confession to Sharon. Will it be about her own true feelings for Kevin?
Meanwhile, Lily asks Neil about his parents when Charlie and Mattie do a family tree school project. He shuts his daughter down and says the family they have now is all that matters. Lily only becomes more curious about Neil's weird behavior.
