This 'Drinkable Book' Can Give You Up to 30 Days of Clean Water

Credit :

A low-cost "drinkable book" developed by researchers from Carnegie Mellon, the University of Virginia along with the help of WATERisLIFE is promising to revolutionize access to clean drinking water across the globe.

'The Drinkable Book' video produced by WATERisLIFE says it cost just pennies to produce and serves as both a teaching tool on water hygiene and a filter that kills bacteria; producing clean drinking water for up to 30 days.

That's excellent news for at risk populations around the world who could possibly fall into the 3.4 million who die from water-related illnesses each year.
