This Quick Test Can Tell You if Someone is a Good Liar (VIDEO)

The ninth commandment tells us not to "bear false witness" against your neighbor, which can be understood as a warning not to lie about others. Proverbs 6:16–17 is more direct when it comes to not telling the truth:

There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood... (ESV)

Even though we know that God hates a lying tongue, we all tell lies, little white ones on up. (If you disagree, when was the last time you told someone you were "fine" when something was eating you up inside?)

According to psychologist Richard Wiseman, here's a quick test you can give your friends to see if they're good liars – who aren't easily caught – or bad liars who can't conceal their falsehoods.
