While on a show live, she is asked about her life after losing her mother and how she deals with it. She feels the presence of an angel every day. That angel watches over her family and puts smiles on the faces of all those around her. Her mother may be gone from the earth but always in her heart forever. God is working through it all just so they can all be happy.
From time to time Kelly sees her son laughing and looking up into the sky. It's right then and there she knows her mother is always by their side.
