Best Free Android Apps for September 2014: Viber, Zombie Roadkill 3D and More

When it comes to smartphones, the most commonly used operating system is the Android OS by Google. The Android experience wouldn't be complete without its plethora of applications, or apps for short.

Apps can range from utility apps that help reduce battery usage to gaming apps where people use to pass the time. These apps are two of either types, the ones that you pay for and the ones that are free for download. Free apps are more oftenly downloaded but these come with numerous ads and other third party agreements but are mostly safe to use. Paid apps usually come with added features and no advertisements.

The Android Play Store lists a catalogue of top apps that are free to download and are ranked from highest rated to lowest. Apps are rated from 1 to 5 stars with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
