  1. Liberty University

Lynchburg, Virginia

Liberty University is the largest Christian university in America and offers 349 online degree programs. It serves 94,000 online students and 15,000 on-campus students. Due to its breadth, cost, and Christian values, it is the top of our rankings list of online Christian colleges and universities.

Regent University has been doing online education for 20 years compared to many other schools that are only recently getting into it. The proof is 10,500 students (on-campus and online) enrolled in 128 degree tracks from certificate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degree options.

Regent has been known for its legal, government and leadership degrees, but it is also ranked nationally for its business and education programs. The online platform at Regent allows an anytime access to lectures, allowing students to plan their studies on their own schedule.

Cost: Courses start from $295 per credit hour for undergraduate and $495 per credit hour for graduate, all the way to $1100 for their Doctorate in Jurisprudence. Courses range from 8 to 15 weeks and the university has multiple enrollment periods. Discounts offered for military. Phoenix, Arizona

Grand Canyon University enrolls 20,000 students on-campus and 60,000 students online. It’s also one of the few Christian colleges that is NCAA-Division 1.

Online students have access to lecture archives, 24/7 live-chat support, and anytime access. Though it offers over 100 degree programs, its emphasis is in nursing, education and business. Besides the traditional bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs, high school students can take dual-credit classes, and adults can take adult education and continuing education.

Cost: Courses start at $350 per credit hour, but go up to $550 per credit hour. Discounted rate of $250 per credit hour offered to military. Courses are 8 weeks, with many four credit hours. An undergraduate tuition at Grand Canyon University can cost $16,500 per year, which is 14% more expensive than the national average private for-profit four year college tuition.

Lakewood, Colorado

Colorado Christian University offers more than 100 degree programs for traditional and adult students, is ranked in the top 2 percent of college nationwide for its core curriculum. That’s why over 8,000 students are enrolled in this college.

CCU’s online program is one of the best, providing anytime access to online classes, a small 9-to-1 student to faculty ratio, and a unique “cohort model” community because learning is better in groups.

LeTourneau University is known for its engineering and aviation programs, but offers more than 85 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It offers its 2700 students an option of residential programs in Longview, online from anywhere and hybrid programs in Dallas and Houston.

LTU caters its online programming to students with day jobs, so it’s a practical choice for employees seeking career advancement. Online anytime-access classes and flexible work-friendly scheduling is a distinctive feature for adult and non-traditional students.

Cost: Courses start at $255 per credit hour, with most classes at $355 to $475 per credit hour, and peaking at $910 per credit hour for master’s level engineering classes. An undergraduate tuition at LeTourneau University can cost $28,770 per year, which is 4% more expensive than the national average private non-profit four year college tuition.
