Friday marked five full months in office for President Donald Trump. The week was defined primarily by ongoing conflict in Israel and Iran and the Trump administration’s response to it.

Additional developments included the launch of a long-term study into an environmental disaster and the implementation of a new policy aimed at ensuring that foreign students entering the United States on visas do not pose a national security risk.
