Watch a Heroic Cat Save a Boy From a Vicious Dog Attack (VIDEO)
In Bakersfield, Calif., a courageous cat fiercely defended a child from an attacking dog, leaving some to reconsider who man's best friend really is.
In this security camera footage, 4-year-old Jeremy Triantafilo is riding a bike in his driveway when the neighbor's dog wanders by. The dog inexplicably attacks the boy, biting his leg and dragging him from the bike. The situation could have gotten much worse, but the family cat, named Tara, enters the picture, lunging at the attacking dog and driving it away.
Jeremy suffered a few cuts but is doing well, all thanks to his faithful feline.
