When his mother asked him to record an album of gospel songs, country music star Alan Jackson did just that. And it's a reminder of how important it is to listen to your mom.

Jackson's 2006 album "Precious Memories," his first gospel album went platinum, selling 1.8 million copies. Here, the Grand Ole Opry member sings "The Old Rugged Cross" from "Precious Memories."
