Watch 'Hell's Kitchen' Chef Gordon Ramsay Inspire Blind Cook by Describing Apple Pie (VIDEO)

Chef Gordon Ramsay is as famous for his cooking acumen as he is his short temper. Here are a few moments from his reality shows "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares."

However, that's not to say he's without a compassionate side. In this scene from season 3 of the cooking competition series "Masterchef," Ramsay assesses an apple pie baked by Christine Ha, who is blind after losing her vision to an autoimmune condition called neuromyelitis optica. So, Ramsay describes the pie as he carefully examines it.

Like many of Ramsay's subjects, Ha is left in tears, but hers are tears of joy.
