Earlier this year, Candi Gauff publicly declared that her priorities would be rooted in family.

“My Theme for 2023 is F.A.M.I.L.Y,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Jan. 4. “Each word selected in the acronym has multiple meanings and purposes, but more importantly, the word itself is what sustains me in this life. Family…… F-Foundation, A-Action, M-Movement, I-Importance, L-Love, Y-Yield.”

Coco Gauff’s parents, who also have two sons younger than Coco, have been married since Jan. 13, 2001.  Candi Gauff declared her love for her husband in a 2020 Instagram post celebrating their 19th wedding anniversary.

“19 years and counting. Happy Anniversary to us,” the former teacher who quit her job to support her daughter’s career wrote in the post along with a photo of her and her husband. “You and I already know the value we bring to each other and to our family. I love you; I love us, I love our life together. Happy Anniversary!”
