Thursday morning Courtney Ann Sanford was driving to work on Business 85 in High Point, N.C. when she crossed the median and slammed head-on into a recycling truck. The 32-year-old died instantly. The truck driver was unharmed.

Investigators were trying to figure out the cause of the crash after drugs, alcohol and speeding were ruled out. After Sanford's friends tipped them off, police discovered she had posted to Facebook seconds before the fatal crash. Her status update read, "The happy song makes me HAPPY!"

"As sad as it is, it's also a grim reminder...you just have to pay attention while you're in the car," said Lt. Chris Weisner of the High Point Police Department.
