World Wrestling Entertainment superstar and Hollywood A-lister Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been named the number one international box office star for the year 2015.

In a report by WWE.com, Johnson generated a total of $1.48 billion for his roles in films like "San Andreas" and the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, "Furious 7". The two films that The Rock starred in for 2015 raked in huge numbers as well.

Furious 7, which is the last film featuring the late Paul Walker, made $1.5 billion in the box office. San Andreas, which centers on a 9.1 magnitude earthquake that hits San Francisco, made $473.8 million in the box office. The Rock was merely thankful for his recent accomplishment, which he expressed through a recent Instagram post.

"$1.48billion is a lot of revenue to generate in our business in only one year, BUT it's also the important reminder that regardless of what we achieve in life, we always gotta keep striving for more, staying hungrier than the rest and being grateful around every corner," an excerpt of his post reads.

Meanwhile, current heavyweight champion Roman Reigns spoke about facing former UFC champion and WWE returnee Brock Lesnar. The said event is slated to take place on January 24 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Reigns will be competing against 29 other men, including the likes of Lesnar, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Ryback, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, Curtis Axel, Stardust, Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman, and Luke Harper, just to name a few. Reigns will be the first man to enter the ring. Speaking to DC101, Reigns touched on how he will deal with his situation at the Royal Rumble this weekend.

The 30-year-old professional wrestler basically promised to emerge victorious and keep his title, knowing fully well that he will be up against other fierce competitors who are gunning for the belt.

Reigns put his focus particularly on Lesnar, whom he says would need to exert major efforts to put him away.

"Brock's going to have to German [suplex] me into the stands to get me out," Reigns said in the interview.
