Xbox Live Games With Gold August 2015 List: 2 New Games for Xbox Gamers

Microsoft has officially announced the titles coming for Games with Gold program for the month of August. Only Xbox Live Gold members will get to download and install the games below for free.

Starting Aug. 1 up until to the end of the month, Xbox One and Live Gold members will get to play Konami's "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes."

The "Phantom Pain" prologue title follows Snake infiltrating an American black site in Cuba called Camp Omega. The mission is to rescue Cipher agent Paz Ortega Andrade and former Sandinista child soldier Ricardo "Chico" Valenciano Libre.

From Aug. 16 to Sept. 15, Live Gold members can download and install to their Xbox Ones 505 Games' action-adventure game "How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition." The game basically finds the player stranded on a zombie infested archipelago. The challenge is to survive from the onslaught of the undead while at the same time looking for supplies to satisfy basic human needs like food, water and shelter.

Players handling Xbox 360 and Live Gold Members are also in for some surprise as both Metro games are coming to fill the list.

From Aug. 1 to 15, 4A Games' survival horror first-person shooter video game "Metro 2033" will be to download and install. The game, which was based on the novel of the same name by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky, follows the adventures of Artyom as he traverse the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Russia.

Then from Aug. 16-31, the sequel "Metro: Last Light" will be offered for free for Live Gold members. Released on Aug. 26, 2014, the title received widespread critical acclaims for its story, graphics and gameplay improvements.
