ZTE Nubia Z9 Rumors Pile Up as Release Date Draws Near, Device Allegedly Packs Metal Frame, Bezel-Less Display

The ZTE Nubia Z9 is among the interesting devices that are lined up for the Chinese manufacturer, and it will aim at the best the market has to offer.

Unfortunately, there are still no clear release dates for the Android-powered handset, in spite the fact that its other siblings have already been announced.

Just recently, ZTE has launched both the Nubia Z9 Max and the Z9 Mini, both of which share some design features, though the former is definitely in high-end territory.

However, recent rumors are pointing that the Nubia Z9's release date could just be around the corner as well.

According to a new report from GSM Arena, the device has just been leaked once more – this time showing some of its innards. The device was reportedly compared to the recently announced Nubia Z9 Max in a few images.

In the report, the device will allegedly feature a metal frame surrounding it. It is still unclear whether ZTE would use plastic, metal of glass for the front and back covers, but the phone's sides will be made out of premium metal.

The report also mentioned that the design for the display could very well hint a bezel-less display similar to the Oppo R7.

Considering that the Nubia Z9 Max packs a 5.5-inch display, the report stated that the ZTE Nubia Z9 could pack a smaller 5.2-inch screen, probably with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.

Surely, more rumors and leaks will be heading our way soon as the Chinese manufacturer prepares for the announcement of its latest handset.
