The previous episode (episode 9) of NBC's "Blindspot" started with some humour but soon turned dark with the unfortunate death of David, Patterson's love interest. That was shocking in spite of the fact that viewers were given hints that a character was going to be killed off in this episode.

The other death of the episode was the killing of Saul Guerrero, the crime boss.

The episode also had the appearance of Chief Wylie Dufresne as the man who is serious about his words and always ready for a mouthful and "Red Oaks" alum Ennis Esmer, who came in as the unsavoury but quirky criminal dealing in the shady world of Bitcoins.

But of course, the main event was David's death. In the episode, David goes undercover to discover the secret of a code that is tattooed on Jane in a bid to win Patterson's heart. But he meets his end.

Is it possible that Mayfair, who has many secrets, is responsible for this?

In the upcoming episode, besides the spies and the assassinations, a few events of the previous episode will figure in the mid-season finale. Saul Guerrero's death in prison will raise a question mark for the main characters. Who would benefit from his death?

After David's death, Patterson will be struggling to cope with the fact that she always kept David at arm's length, never letting him come close even as he begged for her love and companionship. She will be guilt-ridden as she knows that David had gone undercover to ferret out the secret of the code for Patterson.

There is some mystery about how David dies as the man who was following him did not kill David. It was somebody else. Who could this person be? Is it possible that David has not died but Mayfair has set up David's disappearance when she realizes that the code cracking is becoming dangerous for David?

Regarding the Kurt-Jane relationship, will the appearance of Kurt's ex lend some tension to their drama?

Episode 10 of "Blindspot" will air on Monday Nov. 24 at 10/9C on NBC. The series is expected to return towards the end of February, 2016.
