'Girl Meets World' Season 2 Finale: Maya and Riley Have Some Conflict

Fans of the Disney Channel series "Girl Meets World" are excited to see the upcoming finale of the season, which is expected to show some problems between Riley and Maya.

It was revealed that the two best friends, Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard, and Maya, played by Sabrina Carpenter, will be dealing with some conflict in the season finale of "Girl Meets World" Season 2.

Even though the two have been known be in a love triangle involving Lucas, it was reported that their upcoming strife will not be about their romantic interest towards Lucas. The episode is expected to show Maya upset when she sees Riley renovating their sacred bay window space.

It was said that the incident will trigger Maya's insecurities regarding their friendship. The two have experienced a rough patch in the previous episodes. However, fans will be excited to hear that the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" will also give a look at Maya and Riley's history. With that, younger versions of Riley, Maya, and Farkle will be making their way to the small screen.

Aside from the upcoming finale, more drama is expected to take place in the next season of "Girl Meets World." The characters are expected to take on more adventures as they enter high school. The Official Twitter account of the "Girl Meets World" writers also showed that the season to come will shed more light on the other characters of the series. The post read, "Relationships aside, BMW went to high school and a good show got better. Scripts in, same happening here. More Zay, more Smackle, more Josh."

With that, there is much excitement for the new season of "Girl Meets World." However, fans will still have to catch the season finale of Season 2.

"Girl Meets World" Season 2 is expected to air its season finale on Disney Channel this Feb. 19.
