'Hawaii Five-0' Season 6 Spoilers: Couple's Retreat for Steve and Danny

With the return of "Hawaii Five-0" soon approaching, it was reported that the second half of the season will bring more exciting cases to the team.

After the emotional midseason finale of the hit series, it was reported that the series will continue with a lighter and happier vibe. The previous episode ended with Grace Park's character, Officer Jono Kalakaua, sending her husband Adam Noshimuri, played by Ian Anthony Dale, to prison for 18 months.

According to TV Line, the upcoming episode will be titled "Kuleana (One's Personal Sense of Responsibility)." It was reported that the episode will focus on the character of Taylor Wily, named Kamekona. The episode will see her turning back into her criminal past. With that, the Five-0 Team will be working hard to help her out.

However, it was reported that Alex O'Loughlin's Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett and Scott Caan's Detective Danny "Danno" Willliams will not be present to help out the team. The two will be going on a couple's retreat to aid their therapy sessions.

Previous seasons have mentioned that they often do activities that are designed to accompany their sessions. With that, the two are expected to solve the many issues in their relationship.

Several photos of their retreat were recently posted by the network. Teaser for the upcoming episode showed the two of them doing several activities with a group of couples. But the couple will face an obstacle that will cost them their victory and leave Danny injured.

As reported by Carter Matt, the synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "While McGarrett and Danny attend a couples retreat in Maui to work on their partnership issues, Kamekona's dangerous past comes back to haunt him."

"Hawaii Five-0" season 6 is expected to return on Jan. 8, 2016.
