Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Spotted Shopping in Venice

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were recently spotted in Venice as they embarked on a shopping spree. The couple was very affectionate with each other as "The Vampire Diaries" star gave his "Twilight" actress fiancée a kiss before going their separate ways. Reed donned blue jeans, a black top, and a matching hat for the outing while Somerhalder wore a fedora with a grey t-shirt and jeans.

The couple, who announced their engagement earlier this year, has yet to reveal their wedding date, but they appear to be more in love than ever. Reed recently told E!News that "life is good" for them right now.

"Quite happy right now, thank you," said the actress. "But yes, we're very happy and life is good, and I'm a very happy lady."

The two often put their love on display, and they also take to social media to post heartfelt tributes to each other. Last month, the two gushed about each other on Instagram before attending the Humane Society Gala in Miami together.

Somerhalder and Reed took to their respective Instagram accounts to post black and white photos of them holding hands, which puts Reed's sparkling engagement ring on full display.

"So excited—heading to @humanesociety Gala in Miami to present an honor to a beautiful woman whom I'm so grateful to be her date," wrote Somerhalder.

"I'm blown away by @iamnikkireed, the Humane Society as well as all of you that support all of these amazing causes to make this incredible change," he continued.

Meanwhile, Reed posted, "On my way to the Gala in Miami where I am so excited to be receiving The Humane Society of the U.S.'s Inspirational Award!"

"Also, I may or may not have a very handsome date that wanted to come along and present my award," she teased.

Somerhalder and Reed got engaged in January after six months of dating.
