Chrissy Teigen was bombarded with criticisms when she went out on a dinner date with John Legend on their first week as new parents. Elle reported that some internet users questioned Teigen's decision to leave Baby Lulu at home.
"Funny there's no dad-shaming. When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it," John Legend tweeted to defend his wife. In an interview with Today, he also shut down Teigen's detractors by saying that parents should have the freedom the make the best choices for their family.

Chrissy Teigen revealed to People that she and John Legend have never learned how to swim due to bad experiences while being in the water. But she added that she and her husband are now motivated to learn because of Baby Lulu.
"There is nothing I want to do more than get her into the water and for her to learn to swim. We don't want to be helpless in any way, so we're going to try to learn for Luna," the supermodel shared.
