Kim Kardashian West News: Kim and Kanye Donated a Thousand Shoes to Charity

Kim Kardashian West is still embracing the Christmas season after she and her husband, Kanye West, donated a thousand pair of shoes to charity.

Last Dec. 10, the 35-year-old reality star made a promise via Twitter to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes to Soles 4 Souls, a nonprofit organization, and just recently, as promised, the shoes were received by the charity. The people behind Soles 4 Souls posted a photo of their group, who recently received the boxes and boxes of shoes from Adidas and Kardashian Kollection, expressing their gratitude to Kim and Kanye. "Thank You Kim and Kanye, Soles 4 Souls," says the group's cardboard message.

According to Kim's article on her website, which is titled "Kim's Kauses," it was Amelia Flores who made her want to donate to Soles 4 Souls. Flores and her family were victims of Hurricane Katrina, and after they were helped by the said charity to recover, the teenager started a drive to raise 1,000 shoes for donation. "The organization helped her and her family during Hurricane Katrina and she has started collecting her own sneakers to give back. I knew I had to get involved!" Kim said on her post.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality star said that she and her husband are happy to share this holiday season. "I'm so glad to have learned about an organization doing so much good around the world," she wrote.

In other news, Kim, who recently gave birth to her son Saint, posted photos of her post-baby body, and it showed how much weight she has already lost. According to Inquistr, Kim promised to hit the gym as soon as she gives birth, and true enough, the results are seen on her photos taken last Christmas. Besides exercise, Kim is also breast-feeding to baby Saint, which also explains her rapid weight loss. Fans of the star can't wait to see her lose all the 52 pounds she gained throughout her pregnancy.
