Krispy Kreme will not only give free cups of coffee on National Coffee Day 2016, but also a sweet treat. No purchase is necessary. Customers will only have to visit one of the chain's participating locations today to enjoy a free 12-ounce cup of coffee, along with a free glazed doughnut. 


Wawa

Wawa will hand out more than two million free cups of coffee today. No coupon is needed. Coffee lovers who want to avail the offer may simply drop by at any of the convenience store chain's more than 700 locations and walk away with a free cup of coffee in any size.

Pilot Flying J

The gas station and truck-stop chain will observe the National Coffee Day by giving away a free small cup of coffee. Hot beverages like tea and cappuccino are also available for free. To avail the offer, customers must present an online coupon which can be acquired at Pilot Flying J's Facebook page.

Dunkin' Donuts

The chain will celebrate the National Coffee Day alongside with its 66th birthday. For the double celebration, Dunkin' Donuts will mark down the price of its medium-sized cup of coffee to 66 cents today. The chain also stated that it will surprise 66 of its Twitter followers with gift cards worth a year of free coffee.

Cumberland Farms

Cumberland Farms will commemorate the National Coffee Day 2016 by handing out free hot or iced coffee in any size. To grab the offer, customers must text FREECOFFEE to 64827 to get a mobile coupon for the Sept. 29 offer. In addition, Cumberland Farms will stretch its National Coffee Day celebration this October by giving away a free hot or iced coffee every Friday.

Starbucks

The nation's most popular coffee chain will not offer a free of discounted cup on the National Coffee Day. However, if you want to celebrate the holiday for a good cause, Starbucks is the good place to go. The chain will donate one rust-resistant coffee tree for every cup of brewed Mexico Chiapas coffee it sells today.

McDonald's

McDonald's will also go for a charitable route on the National Coffee Day. The fastfood chain will donate the proceeds from its regular and decaffeinated drip coffee to Covenant House, an organization that helps homeless youth.
