'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Spoilers: Josh Dallas Talks About the Underworld

With the return of "Once Upon a Time" fast approaching, fans are wondering what will happen to their favorite characters when they set foot into the Underworld.

The events that took place in the previous season of "Once Upon a Time" led to the upcoming journey to the Underworld to save Hook. It was revealed that Gold tricked the characters of Storybrooke into making him the Dark One instead of Emma, which led to the unfortunate death of Hook.

Because of that, Emma is hoping to find Hook to give him half of her heart so that he will be able to live. However, it was revealed that their journey to the Underworld will bring more characters who are in need of saving.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Josh Dallas recently shared some teasers about what to expect in the Underworld. He said, "It's a place that, once they get there, they're going to discover that possibly some of these people can be saved and brought out of there, because maybe they're misplaced in this world. We're going to meet some people down there that maybe you don't expect or you haven't seen in quite a while — maybe a family member of David's we might see down there. There is definitely a particular person down there for David that he's going to come across, and Mary Margaret will come across that person too."

With that, fans can expect more characters to return as the series follows the journey into the Underworld. It was teased that past villains of the series will be making appearances once again, such as Cora and Peter Pan. There are also reports stating that Neal will be back to the small screen once again. His presence will surely bring some interesting twists for both Emma and Mr. Gold.

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 will return on ABC this Mar. 6.
