'Rock Band 4' new songs update news: Adds 10 new songs to track list, more updates coming

It won't be long until music lovers and rockers will be able take hold of "Rock Band 4," an upcoming music video game developed by Harmonix. Just recently, the official "Rock Band" website made an update and announced the arrival of additional 10 new songs that will be featured in the music game. The total number of confirmed tracks as of present is already 50.

The new songs added to the track list is expected to feature some great music and even include bands that players would not expect to be part of the game. iDigital Times remarked that perhaps the most interesting inclusion is the band named The Protomen which is actually a Mega Man-inspired band. A major band will also be coming to the game for the first time in the "Rock Band" franchise which is the marvelous band Van Halen.

The list of the 10 new tunes in "Rock Band 4" can be found below:

  • 38 Special - "Caught Up In You"
  • Arctic Monkeys - "Arabella"
  • The Both - "Milwaukee"
  • Cake - "Short Skirt/Long Jacket"
  • Little Big Town - "Little White Church"
  •  Lucius - "Turn It Around"
  • The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - "The Impression That I Get"
  • The Protomen - "Light Up The Night"
  • Soundgarden - "Superunknown"
  • Tijuana Sweetheart - "Pistol Whipped"

According to Gamespot, the music game will offer more than 60 songs on-disc, which means the list is almost complete. But players can opt to acquire more as there are more than 1,500 songs available in the Rock Band Music Store right now.

It will be compatible with "Rock Band 4" when it makes it official release on October. Fans can look forward to hearing Aerosmith, Avenged Sevenfold, The Black Keys, Elvis Presley, Foo Fighters and Van Halen who are all on the set list. Harmonix will also continue to announce more updates so fans will have to stay tuned.

"Rock Band 4" will be released on Oct. 6 across Xbox One and PS4.
