'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 14 News: First Set Photos From 'The Flash' and 'Supergirl' Shared By Grant Gustin

It will still be a month before the "Supergirl" and "The Flash" crossover airs, but Grant Gustin is already teasing their fans with his recent posts on Instagram.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the 26-year-old actor posted a photo of him and Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) in their full costumes and captioned the post, "Those two emblems look pretty good together..." Last week, Gustin also posted a picture of them together, which showed the two DC superheroes laughing and having fun while in costume. "Secret is out. @melissabenoist and I are gonna get to have some fun on Supergirl together," the caption reads. With the two heroes joining forces, fans are indeed excited to see this amazing crossover episode.

The crossover is just one of the many measures that the show is implementing to gain more viewership from the 18-49 demographic. According to The Fresno Bee, the show already used several tactics like casting previous characters from "Smallville" and "Lois & Clark," and introducing DC characters like The Martian Manhunter, Bizzaro, and others to push the ratings. The show lost a lot of viewers in the middle of the season, but is now slowly gaining its momentum back. The producers just hope that the crossover episode will bring back the 13 million viewers who initially watched the premiere.
