'Switched at Birth' Season 5 News: Tank Coming Back This Season

Despite his dramatic exit from the show, Tank (Max Adler) will return this season of "Switched at Birth."

According to Enstarz, the announcement was made through the show's Twitter account, where the post said, "He's baaaack! #SwitchedatBirth," and Adler's Twitter handle was tagged after. However, the reason for Tank's comeback on the show was not revealed, and fans are curious what made him decide to return. Fans have to watch the next episodes to find out why, since the last time that he was seen was after his controversial hookup with Bay (Vanessa Marano) at a party.

Fans can remember how it was for Tank after the hookup since he got expelled from school. The website said "excessive drinking" was involved during the unfortunate event, as well as "not giving any consent," which led to the question if it was just something casual or if it's serious enough to be considered as sexual assault. Viewers definitely have a lot to look forward to once the show returns.

Meanwhile, another character that is said to come back is Gilles Marini, the actor who played Angelo, who is Bay's biological father, according to TV Line. Angelo is already dead since the third season, so fans are wondering why and how he'll return. Since the show will reach a special milestone, which is the 100th episode, in season 5 episode 5, Angelo's return might be because of that. No details about Angelo's return has been released yet, though.

On the other hand, Lizzy Weiss, the series' creator, is having a difficult time naming the 100th episode, according to another report from Enstarz. Weiss said it was the hardest episode to create, as well as the most ambitious and outside-the-box episode of the show ever. No specific details were mentioned, which is also another thing that fans are excited about in the upcoming season.

"Switch at Birth" season 5 will premiere sometime this April on Freeform, former ABC Family.
