Moreover, Paige also told TV Guide that the couple would often clash because of their differences by nature and definition. He said that Lena is a considered person while Stef is an impulsive individual. He stressed that their differences will constantly challenge their relationship but they will stay in love against all odds.

Not Renewed for Season 5?

The Season 4B of "The Fosters" will premiere in early 2017 but there is no official date yet. As early as now, fans are already wondering if the hit family drama will return for its Season 5.

Per Premiere Date, Freeform is yet to renew "The Fosters" for its fifth installment. The website predicted that the renewal of the television series is almost a sure thing because of its massive appeal to adults and teenagers. It also added that the series received mostly good reviews for its innovative storyline.

Declining Ratings

The hit series may face cancellation if ratings are an indication. The show suffered dip in ratings since Season 4 premiered.

According to TV Series Finale, the 10 episodes of the fourth season engaged an average of 891,000 viewers. This is a big decline from the Season 3's one million viewers.

Moreover, the summer finale of the fourth season on Monday got 989,000 viewers, while the midseason ender of the third installment attracted 1.246 million viewers.

"The Fosters" started airing in June of 2013. The television drama series received praises and awards for its unique portrayal of a lesbian couple raising a multi-ethnic mix of biological, adopted and foster kids.
