'The Magicians' Season 1 Episode 4 Spoilers: Is Quentin Going Crazy?

In the next episode of "The Magicians," Quentin (Jason Ralph) wakes up in a mental institution, and fans wonder if he's actually going crazy.

According to TIBS, the show is now gaining momentum, and the story, week by week, is getting really good. The next episode puts Quentin in a mental institution, and fans wonder if this is all just a dream. The website said that it could be just a spell to play tricks on his mind, or if this is the side effect of not taking his medications.

A sneak peek of the next episode is also released, and viewers see Quentin slowly losing his mind. A doctor is seen asking him if he remembers why he's been booked to the institution since he clearly doesn't remember why he ended up there. "Brakebills is the hallucination. This is the reality," the doctor continues. Is Quentin really crazy? Or is this just another twist to deliberately mislead the viewers? Fans just have to find out in next week's episode, which is titled "The World in the Walls."

An episode synopsis was released for the upcoming episode of "The Magicians," and the summary reads, "Quentin wakes up in a mental hospital and must set his panic aside to seek the help of the one person he least trusts. Julia is hurt after her fallout with Quentin and commits to learning more powerful spells with the Hedge Witches."

Meanwhile, last Monday's episode showed another falling out between Quentin and Julia (Stella Maeve) after he told her that not everyone can be a magician like him, according to Entertainment Weekly. Julia failed her test in the premiere, but she asked her best friend to tell Brakebills to allow her to take another test. Quentin didn't tell anyone at the university about it, which forced Julia to go underground and learn magic from Marina (Kacey Rohl) and company. Fans wonder if the two will eventually get back together as friends.
