'The Man in the High Castle' Season 2 Spoilers

"The Man in the High Castle" is loosely based on the Hugo Award-winning 1962 alternate history novel of legendary sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. The storyline of the Emmy-winning web television series explores on what could have happened if the Nazis and Japanese triumphed in the World War II.

The sophomore season will have 10 episodes. Per Digital Trends, executive producer Isa Hackett revealed at the San Diego Comic Con 2016 that the upcoming season will address the unanswered questions of the show's Season 1 finale. She also added that the new installment will finally reveal the identity of the series' titular character.

Hackett also disclosed that the series will not follow the book verbatim. She explained that the book has been the foundation of the alternate history drama, but they skipped some parts during the first season and incorporated them into the upcoming installment.

The new season will see Juliana dealing with consequences for betraying the resistance. It will also feature the mounting political tensions between Germany and Japan.
