'The Voice' Season 10 News: Miley Cyrus Will Be Next Season's Key Adviser

Miley Cyrus just announced that she will be "The Voice" season 10's key adviser.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Miley will mentor and help season 10 contestants, just like what Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Christ Martin, and Nate Ruess did in the previous seasons of the show. The show is set to come back at the end of this month, and coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams are now ready to find the next "The Voice" champion. Gwen Stefani was replaced by Christina Aguilera this season.

Miley made the announcement that she's joining the show on her Twitter account, and posted a picture of her sticking her tongue out over Christina's red buttons. Miley captioned the photo with, "Lickin @xtina buttonz! @nbcthevoice #keyadviser #season10."

Fans flooded the 23-year-old's Twitter post and expressed their excitement over the news. A fan even tweeted, "You two should be fun together to watch." Miley's job as the next celebrity adviser on the show is something viewers are now looking forward to, besides Christina's comeback as a judge.

Hollywood Life said that this year will be super busy for the former Disney star. According to the website, Miley will star in a new show on Amazon, together with Woody Allen. This will be Miley's first TV show after "Hannah Montana," and the singer can't be any more excited about it. "Stoked to be in Woody Allen's first series!!!!! I had claimed 2016 to be my year of 'chillin the f–k out,' but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of W.A. & I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be a part of the cast," Miley said.

The website said that the new show will only be six episodes long, and will be set in the 1960s. Besides Allen, Miley will be starring alongside with veteran actress Elaine May.
