'The Walking Dead' Season 7 at San Diego Comic Con 2016: Posters at SDCC Teases Season 6 Cliffhanger; Release Date, Cast and What We Know So Far [PHOTOS]
The big question of which character Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed on "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale last April has gone more complicated. In time for the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2016, AMC released the Season 7 character posters of the horror-drama series, adding more confusions to the finale's controversial and massive cliffhanger.
Lucille is Present in All of Them
The Christian Post reported earlier that the first trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will premiere on Friday at the SDCC, ahead of its October air date. To add more thrill to the incoming trailer, AMC released 11 posters depicting each of the character who could be the potential victim of Negan's barbed wire-covered baseball bat named Lucille.

Lucille is noticeably the common element in each of the stark black and white poster. It can be recalled that in the last season's finale, at least one among Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) suffered a brutal beatdown from Negan using Lucille.
So Who Did Negan Kill?
According to the Daily Mail, fans immediately noticed that most characters are singled out by the sadistic baseball bat and are defiantly looking back. Among the characters, Eugene's poster is different as he does not furiously look back. Moreover, Sasha is the only character who is being approached by the antagonist from the back.
"It has to be someone important to matter or viewers will throw in the towel. No more redshirt deaths hyped as a major turning point," one fan commented about who should be killed by Negan.
'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Trailer Will Bring More Questions
Cleveland warned that "The Walking Dead" fans should not expect that the incoming Season 7 trailer will provide any clue about the character that was killed by Negan. The report said that AMC has taken extra measures to keep the identity of the victim a secret until the season premieres.
"The Walking Dead" executive producer Greg Nicotero recently confirmed to the EW that the character that was ruthlessly killed by Negan's bat will only be revealed on the first episode of Season 7. This means that the incoming trailers will be intricately edited to conceal the secret.
Nicotero also disclosed to ComicBook.com that so far, only few people involved in the production were able to see the rest of Negan's kill scene. He said that those who have watched the scene found it very disturbing.
