'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers for August 22-26: Adam Changes Plea; Chelsea Fears Losing Him
Victor is doing everything in his power to help Adam.
"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) spoilers for August 22-26 reveal that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) will change his plea, which could put his marriage in jeopardy. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is beginning to fear that her son will grow up without a father. Victor (Eric Braeden) practically has a scheme going on everywhere in Genoa City.
Adam changes plea
It seems Adam has lost all hope in ever getting out of prison. He will change his plea to guilty to assault beginning of the week. Victor will come up with a new plan to help him, but it may be too risky and may come with major costs. Meanwhile, other Y&R spoilers divulge that Michael wants him to plead guilty by reason of insanity.
Engagement party
Summer (Hunter King) and Luca's (Miles Gaston Villanueva) upcoming wedding has caused great strife in her family. A lot of scheming and plotting are going on to sabotage their wedding. Many of her family members want nothing more than to bring Luca down.
The couple will have their engagement party this week, and a surprise guest will make Summer ecstatic. Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is back in town to toast the couple. Finally, Summer has at least one person she knows who is happy with her engagement. Is she right in believing this? Someone must have invited him to come to the party. Who can it be and for what reason?
Phyllis is distracted
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) also appears to be supporting Summer in her decision, but it may not also be all what it seems to be. Fans will know soon enough if she is sincere in her support.
Y&R spoilers say that Jack (Peter Bergman) will be a distraction to Phyllis this week. He wants to set a romantic mood, but she will not be up for it. He has been trying, but he always fails to connect with Phyllis. She undoubtedly still longs for Billy (Jason Thompson), who unfortunately has been preoccupied with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria talk about love. She even confides in him about her feelings for Travis (Michael Roark). The conversation may be a little awkward, but may serve to enlighten the two where they stand with each other and the other people who love them.
Other Y&R Spoilers
Victor will tell Chelsea that he will do everything in his power to help Adam. His family learns that the guard Adam attacked in his meltdown slipped into coma. Later in the week, Adam's world will turn upside down, which will drive Victor to make a huge sacrifice.
Nick tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that everything that has happened to Adam is on Victor. Nikki, however, is pulled into Victor's plans to protect his son and family.
